Outdoor Learning/Forest Schools

Forest School at Elms Farm

Miss Hickin is in charge of Forest Schools at Elms Farm. It is a great way for our pupils to learn about the world outdoors, how to stay safe, key life skills and team building. We have an allocated Forest Schools area on site for us to explore and complete our activities. Sometimes, we go to Sheldon Country Park for further exploration.

Have a look at some of our adventures below.

Forest School is an inspirational, opinion changing and challenging opportunity that offers all our learners regular opportunities to achieve and develop confidence and self-esteem through hands on learning experiences in a natural environment. We encourage the children to become a valued and integrated part of their learning, building their confidence and self-esteem so they can see that learning gains success.
