PE and Sport Premium
What is Sports Premium?
The Sports Premium funding is provided to all schools by The Department For Education, The Department for Health & Culture and The Department for Media & Sport. The funding is 'ring-fenced' which means that it can only be used by schools to increase and improve the sports and PE opportunities for pupils.
How it Sports Premium used at Elms Farm?
We have been working hard at Elms Farm to achieve our 'Health for Life Award' for which we have targeted the increase of physical activity in school. Our pupils take part in a wide range of sporting activities, facilitated by the Sports Premium Grant. Each class in Key Stage Two receive an additional P.E lesson each week in addition to the opportunity to learn to swim. We have specialist P.E coaches who help to develop staff skills in delivering a broad and effective PE curriculum.
